Annual Chili Cook-Off, Car & Motorcycle

Head to the Pinedorado Grounds on Saturday, April 21 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for this exciting annual event. Enjoy gourmet chili from each cook-off contestant, live music, raffle drawings and great beer while viewing some of the coolest cars and motorcycles on the Central Coast. Guests can select their favorite car and motorcycle from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and sample delicious chili from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., then cast their votes and await the awards ceremony.

Cambria Wildflower Show

Spring in Cambria is a bucket-list must: the hills of the Central Coast are covered in a lush carpet of native wildflowers, blanketing the area in color and fragrance. Head to Cambria on Saturday, April 28 from 12 to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the 13th Annual Wildflower Show. See hundreds of flowers on display and learn about the local plants that decorate the hillsides.

Sculptures by the Sea

The towering pines and seaside cliffs of Cambria provide inspiration for artists from around the world. Following the annual week-long California Sculptors Symposium at Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria, world-class and amateur sculptors exhibit and sell work created during the week at the Sculptures by the Sea event. Guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists as they work in fields overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This unique, seaside art show will take place on Saturday, April 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Eroica California

Do a little time travel when Eroica California returns to the Central Coast April 14 and 15. Featuring only vintage bikes and gear, this bike race was inspired by L’Eroica, the famous international cycling event that takes riders through the vineyards of Italy’s Tuscan region. There are four featured routes taking riders through the lush hills and vineyards of Central Coast wine country—two of which offer stunning coastal segments that travel along Highway 1 and through Cambria and Cayucos. Visitors to Cambria can stop by to cheer on cyclists as they ride through Cambria and take part in the festivities.

Earth Day

Soto’s True Earth and Greenspace – The Cambria Land Trust are teaming up to celebrate a day fun, family, and the environment for Earth Day 2018. Family-friendly activities will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, and include opportunities for education, inspiration, and motivation to create a better world for all. The festivities will include food, music, and mingling with non-profit organizations, businesses, clubs, and more!

Olallieberry Festival

Show up with an empty stomach. The 2nd Annual Olallieberry Festival is taking place in Cambria this year! The festival will be held on Saturday, May 5, from 11a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cambria Historical Society Museum. Come out and enjoy olallieberry delicacies. Local vendors will be offering merchandise, crafts and art as well as an array of food and drinks, including local wine and beer. There will be live music, cooking demos by local chefs, a dessert contest, and children’s activities.

17th Annual Gene Cerise Country Coast Classic Bike Ride

The Country Coast Classic, taking place in Cambria on Saturday, June 23, supports and funds programs that promote positive development of the youth in the community. Riders can do 1/4–century, 1/2-century and 3/4-century rides on the most scenic coastline in the area. Registration includes well-stocked rest stops, support and gear vehicles, a barbecue lunch, and a raffle ticket.


Picnic in the Park

The Fourth of July is always cause for a big celebration in Cambria. This year, join in the party at Shamel Park on Wednesday, July 4, with food, games, live bands and dancing! The celebration begins at 11 a.m. and continues through the evening, ending with a spectacular fireworks display.
