Take a trip to bat country with this experience presented by Greenspace. Bat experts Lisa Murphy and Erin Naegle lead an enjoyable and educational evening, starting with an “Intro to Bats” class. After that, it’s a Q&A session while snacking on baked goods with hot chocolate and cider. Then everyone will head to the meadow and down by the creek to track and identify bats using acoustical monitoring units.
Sign-ups are available online with a suggested donation of $10; please note that this session is limited to 40 explorers. Be sure to dress warmly, and bring your own chair and flashlight. Children are welcome, but no dogs, please.
