The Healthy Mouse blogger, Jessica McDonald, her husband, and their daughter took a road trip up the Central Coast from Los Angeles on a weekend adventure to Cambria. The family of three spent time walking on the beach, dipping their toes in the Pacific, catching a glimpse of zebras at Hearst Castle, and exploring the deep blue with the Disneynature: Oceans movie on the five-story Hearst Castle Visitor Center Theatre screen.
This adventurous family didn’t stop there. They explored every corner of the shops and restaurants of the East Village, even sampling a few delicious vegetarian options. A quick drive up the Pacific Coast Highway took the family to the elephant seal rookery, where they caught a peek of adorable elephant seal pups with their moms.
