Fiscalini Day To Help Trees

You may know about Friends of the Fiscalini Preserve’s annual tree planting the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Do you also know that during dry years — and aren’t they all these days? — volunteers water the seedlings throughout the summer? Here is your chance to help the little Monterey pines and become a force for nature.

On Saturday, August 21, Brian Morgan will lead a watering brigade. FFRP and Cambria Community Services District will supply the water and buckets.  You should wear sturdy shoes, hat, and gloves. All ages welcome!

Meet at the Dolphin Bench (under the Monterey cypress) on the Ridge Trail at 10:00 am Saturday, August 21.
