Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Coastal Discovery Center in San Simeon as you join with staff, local agencies, and community partners for this day of family-friendly activities. This event will honor two decades of collaboration between NOAA’s Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and California State Parks. Activities include a virtual 360-degree dive of the Sanctuary and ocean-themed arts and crafts. Plus, you’ll get the chance to learn about local wildlife and responsible viewing practices through experts from California State Parks and the Central California Marine Animal Response Team.
