Take a hike, and enjoy the scenery around the Piedras Blancas Light Station while you learn about history and local ecology. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the lighthouse grounds will be open for you to explore on a self-led hike. Pack a lunch and go at your own pace—docents and staff will be on hand to answer your questions and point out the native flora and fauna, plus the gift shop will be open.
This event is free to all, with a suggested donation of $5 to support the restoration and maintenance of the light station. See the event page for additional information, including maps and directions for parking and accessing the hiking trails. Please note that no smoking, pets, bicycles, or drones are allowed on the trail.
