Journeys-Designing a travel journal using creative photos and thoughtful text (Part 1)

Learn how to take your photos from your time in Cambria and turn them into a beautiful photo journal. In this class, Margaret Foster will guide you through the creative process of putting together a book that reflects your memories as well as it shares your photographs. You’ll learn how to use Bookwright (with templates similar to PowerPoint) to compose your visual story and upload it for publishing—while bringing plenty of creative flair to the process.

This workshop is designed to work for both beginners and those with more experience. Part 1 of the course will cover an overview of the program, sorting and prepping your photos, and drafting simple text. You may sign up online, with fees for the class at $100 per attendee, or $75 for CCA members. Please note that you will need to bring your own laptop computer with your travel photos plus the free Bookwright software downloaded onto it. You may also bring a smart phone or camera to take additional photos if you would like.
