Harmony Headlands State Park

In a secluded and peaceful setting along Highway 1, eight miles south of Cambria in between Harmony and Cayucos, Harmony Headlands State Park sits unassumingly along the coast, secretly home to pristine, diverse natural beauty and a dramatic coastline. A 1.5-mile trail from the parking lot extends west to coastal marine terrace grassland with steep hills and panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.

Dogs, horses, and bicycles are not permitted in the park. Camping and ground fires are also prohibited. Please stay on trails and avoid bushes or grasses where ticks are common. Stay away from sensitive wetlands and pond areas, and back away from birds or marine mammals that take notice of you. Please leave tide pool life undisturbed; it is protected by law.
