Enjoy strolling the one-mile boardwalk that meanders all along the splendid coast between Cambria’s north end to Leffingwell Landing and back. Or find refuge on the abundance of wooden benches along the beach park and spend a relaxing afternoon listening to the ocean’s melody while watching whales, dolphins, and birds. Beachcombing, exploring tide pools and viewing the sea otters as they frolic in the waves are also favorite pastimes.
North Entrance: Return to Highway 1, turn left onto Highway 1, then right onto Moonstone Beach Drive. Just past Leffingwell Landing State Park is the entrance to the north end of the Boardwalk (1.1 miles from the Washburn Campground Trails).
South Entrance: Follow Moonstone Beach Drive south. The southern entrance to the Boardwalk is at the dirt parking area just northwest of El Colibri Hotel (1.5 miles from the north entrance of Moonstone Beach Boardwalk).
