Scarecrow Festival
Every October, more than 400 imaginative and expressive scarecrows appear along the streets of Cambria’s East and West Villages, Moonstone Beach, and San Simeon. The annual Scarecrow Festival combines art and creativity in a one-of-a-kind way, bringing thousands of people from around the world to check out the craftsmanship of local students, residents, and businesses. The popular event has been featured by national news outlets, including the Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, ABCNews.com, and Huffington Post.
In August/September, we want to invite a special group of influencers to the Central Coast, for an exclusive look inside the making of these awe-inspiring scarecrows. Take a trip to Cambria, while learning the ins and outs of creating the iconic scarecrows that will soon be spotted all around our coastal community! The trip will include an official Scarecrow Festival workshop and an itinerary of activities to experience all that Cambria has to offer, plus we’ll comp your lodging and curated activities.
