Travels & Treats Gets a Taste of Cambria

Travels & Treats - What to do in Cambria
Traveling and treating herself to a weekend getaway, blogger Kristen Furtado sampled a variety of delicious flavors in Cambria—and captured some beautiful photography, too!

On a beautiful weekend in January, Travels and Treats blogger Kristen Furtado hopped in the car and cruised down the coast from San Francisco to Cambria, only a four-hour drive. Kristen spent the weekend soaking up some sun—though the evenings do bring a breeze—and enjoying many of the tasty food items Cambria has to offer.

Her first stop was the Main Street Grill, the sister restaurant to her favorite tri-tip sandwich joint. That was only the start of a weekend filled with delicious cuisine and relaxation for this blogger. The next morning, Kristen found her caffeine fix at Cambria Coffee Roasting Company and started her day by exploring the historic sights of the East Village. Kristen’s adventures continued after lunch with wine tasting and an afternoon snack, followed by a not-to-forget beer sampling experience. Kristen ended the day with dinner at Centrally Grown and s’mores around the fire pit at Oceanpoint Ranch.

Kristen departed our quaint town the next day, but not before stopping at Boni’s Tacos: “It’s hard to find top-notch taco spots, but oh-em-gee, Boni’s Tacos in Cambria is the real deal, y’all,” she said.
