Safe Travels Guide

When the timing is right and you’re ready, Cambria is open to welcome guests back to our charming little oasis on the Central Coast!

However, it’s more important now than ever to follow the CDC guidelines for responsible and respectful travel if you are choosing to venture out again. (Please note that currently, masks are mandatory in public places in the state of California.) This guide will have answers to your questions and tips for #SafeTravels as you plan your next getaway.

Lodging

Cambria’s lodging properties are taking various extra measures in response to COVID-19. Some of the things you may notice are extra cleaning protocols in public spaces and in guest rooms, no snacks or beverages in rooms, no extra pillows or towels, intentional vacancy periods after guest stays, and limited use of shared amenities. Every measure is in place for the safety of guests and staff.

Dining

Cambria restaurants and wineries are now open for indoor dining in addition to offering outdoor dining, take-out, and delivery options. (Note: Cambria has plenty of picnic spots with picturesque views!) If you aren’t sure what a restaurant is offering, we recommend calling ahead to confirm.

Beaches & Trails

Some state parks and beaches are still closed, but all beaches in Cambria are open! Please respect others by remaining socially distant, and remember not to leave behind any litter. Most trails in Cambria are also open, but some have specific directions in place to help visitors maintain social distancing. Take advantage of these wide open spaces for safe fun and fresh air.

Shops & Other Businesses

Every business has different requirements for guests, so it’s important to pay attention to all signage and respect the safety guidelines for each storefront. Many have limited occupancy, and masks will be required.
