When it’s time for a little R&R, Cambria is ready to welcome you back to our quaint coastal town. Don’t let the excitement of your upcoming getaway distract you from the new necessities you’ll need while traveling. Ensure you’re staying healthy while still enjoying your long-awaited vacation by using this checklist for eight items that are essential on your next trip.
1. Face Masks
Although we’re ecstatic to see visitors visit our quaint coastal town once more, we highly encourage you to continue taking precautions to ensure your safety, including following State and County recommendations. Currently, masks are mandatory in public spaces in the state of California. Click here to learn more about the specific requirements for masks.
2. Hand Sanitizer
Hand sanitizer is a good item to keep with you, no matter where you are traveling—whether it be the grocery store, a friend’s house, or your next trip to the Central Coast! Toss some in your bag, car, and suitcase to ensure you’ll always have some on hand.
3. Disinfectant Wipes
We should be aware of what we come in contact with while being in public, and disinfectant wipes are essential to have for any occasion. Keep some in your car to wipe down the handles while pumping gas or walking inside for snacks while on your road trip to Cambria!
4. Reusable Water Bottle
Lodging properties often included complimentary drinks or snacks in select rooms, but these have been temporarily removed for safety precautions. Since bottled water can’t be provided to you at the moment, bring your own reusable water bottle and celebrate sustainability in the process!
5. Snacks & Drinks
We recommend saving space in your suitcase and checking this one off your list when arriving! Cambria is full of unique, privately-owned markets, restaurants, and dining options to satisfy any craving. So, go for a stroll through town and grab your favorite treats to enjoy for later! Indoor dining is now open in Cambria, in addition to delicious outdoor dining, takeout, and delivery options.
6. Extra Pillows & Blankets
In order to take extra precaution, lodging properties are unable to provide extra linens in each room, including extra pillows and blankets. If you’re traveling with a large family or you’re someone who likes to be surrounded by pillows, be sure to pack extra to guarantee a blissful rest.
7. Extra Robes or Towels
Our lodging properties attempt to provide the best experience for our guests, often including complimentary robes and an abundance of towels to make you feel at-home, which they may not be able provide at this time. Bring extra towels or your favorite robes from home to cozy up after a peaceful day in Cambria.
8. Sunscreen
Being in our homes may have made us forget the importance of using sunscreen daily, but you don’t want to catch the Central Coast UV rays without protection! Whether it’s sunny and 75 or cloudy with a cool ocean breeze, sunscreen is essential for your coastal vacay.
